Garrett Container Systems, Inc (GCS) is an ISO 9001-2015 and HUBZone certified small business, located in rural western Maryland, established in 1991 as a manufacturer of aluminum storage and shipping containers. GCS currently employs over 100 employees that combine to support the design, test, manufacture, and repair of aluminum shipping and storage containers.
GCS acquired LMC and moved the operations to Accident, MD. The combination of talent and state-of-the-art robotic equipment are only a few of the major benefits now available to our customers.
In 2022 GCS was acquired by Albers Aerospace. Albers Aerospace (Albers) is a diversified Certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with three distinct business units offering a full spectrum of products and services. In addition to the capabilities of our wholly owned subsidiary, Garrett Container Systems, Albers offers digital engineering services, manned aviation operations, unmanned aviation (Group 5) training, operations, and maintenance along with product offerings in the unmanned ground sensors space supporting local and federal government clients.
Further, we provide aerospace manufacturing capability and limited outside services (plating and paint) through our AS9100D certified subsidiary, Heritage Aviation, LTD, along with a Part 145 component & aircraft repair capability.
With our corporate HQ in McKinney Texas the company serves our customers and the Warfighter in over 24 states with our development hub in Amarillo, Texas.
